Tees Maar Khan - Review

On Friday, 24th of Dec, 2010.. as soon as my kid came back from school, he pleaded to book tickets for the movie, Tees Maar Khan. I had gone through the preview in the morning newspaper, which was not very encouraging but his insistance was much aggressive. Finally, after much yes and no, we finally decided to go for a late evening show and booked the tickets for 8pm at PVR Cinemas, Vikas Puri.
The advent of Internet, really gives you at least this facility of looking down all different theatres and choose your seats and book the one, which suits your timings. Even while booking the tickets, it was clear that theatres are booked reasonably well. Thanks to the magic of advertisements and the songs of the TMK, mainly the item number - Shiela kee Jawaani. This is the age of advertisement and the way things are projected, at least they create a hype and create a pull among the common man, to just try the product at least for once. Our country is so big that even once means a lot of money, so producers do get a lot back, just by using the good and lucrative parts of the product to their advantage.
The movie started with a bang, Akshay Kumar getting exchanged between police of different countries and 2 officiers of Indian agency bringing back him to India. As imagined, he tricks the public and manages to fool the 2 CBI officiers ard walks free easily. The first scene really gave the impressions of the complete story of the movie. Its going to be only cheap gimmicks and nothing else. Akhshay had been doing such movies from last few years with very limited success. As he reaches his home, enters Katrina Kaif, bang on with "Shiela Kee Jawani". A good lip catching item number, with great moves by the Kashmiri lass. The movie picks up some pace and Katrina really shows that she is also capable to doing something different. She is shown as a desperate B-Grade Movie actress, who is ready to get mileage out of anything, she wants to make it big in the Bollywood. Although, her role is limited but she did left an impact with the role she portrayed. Her dialogues were also limited but some punch lines were repeated with good effect. Apart from Katrina, one actor that made an impact of some kind is Akshay Khanna. He played an establised actor but always wishing for an Oscar.. He is seen ready to do anything for an Oscar. The film has absolutely no storyline or no message to spread, its just comical satires of few actors. The first half is fast paced, with 2 good catchy numbers, one - Shiela kee jawani and other a quwwali which even includes Salman Khan - Aadaab Arj Hai.. Second half has absoulutely nothing, just time pass to make it look like an Indian Movie, even after so much of time pass, the movie ended almost in 2 hrs. Not worth the money spent, its almost a 1000 bucks for a movie outing for a family and its not well spent on a Christmas pre- evening. Better to go to Big Mall, do some window shopping, look at the glitch, play some games n enjoy the variety of Food Court. I really enjoy sitting at the Food Court rather than having a Dinner at a Restaurant. Its like being casual or dressed formally. I like the freedom of Food Courts, choose ur food, fill your plate and move around to check seats,,,its fun.
I tried writing about the Movie but ended up writing more about my taste, which clearly shows the content available in the movie, absolutely nothing apart from few gyrating moves of Katrina, which easily can be seen in every promo..
Enjoy the promos n promos..only.

Consistency

Just few days back, Indian Cricket Team lost their first match by an innings and 25 runs at Centurion Park, South Africa. It must be an eye-opener for them, after they routed New-Zealand 5-0 in ODI series at home. More such similar incidences will soon follow as the series progresses at South Africa, where the pitches help fast bowlers and Indians takes time to adjust to the pace and bounce of the cricket ball. Cricket World Cup is coming up soon and Indian Team is always rated highly to win the same due to their few sizable wins and good performances but somehow in the recent past few world cups, they fared very badly and even failed to reach finals, many a times. The main issue is their consistency, despite the fact that IPL has produced so many young faces but no one is ready to be the next Sachin or Sehwag or Rahul. For this reason only people like Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and VVV Laxman are still playing active cricket.
Life is like that, first impression is just a start up and give more chances to prove but the first impression cannot carry a person all along his or her Life. He or She has to prove, time and again his or her mettle, to survive in this cruel world. So, please do not leave anything to chance and be ready to put your best foot forward, to achieve 100% success. Gone are the days, when 90% is suppossed to be one of the Best. Nowadays, scores of 99% are easily achieveable and people getting scores of 90+ fight hard to get the cream. Its hard but its achievable..
Visualize things, plan each step and put your best effort to get success. After getting success, do not leave the time and tested process of achieveing success on the back burner. Keep on following the same and try to add more success in your bucket n enjoy the Life!!!

Love YourSelf

A few days back, while flying from Delhi to Chennai, I read an article regarding Human Happiness Index. As per the article the human's delight is not related to the money they earn, it simply is related to the difference in the amount of money they earn with respect to their neighbours. Quite amusing...but true. The example given is of India and China, the two countries growing aggressively in terms of Money Power and Infrastructure, but the happiness Index of its citizens are not increasing just because everyone's salary is growing. So, the difference between neighbours salaries is still intact and so the discontent..
In my opinion, everyone should focus on his needs and focus on his own goals for the future instead of looking at his or her neighbour's pocket and trying to outperform them in every little thing. The moment you weigh in just your basic needs, you will have a hugh chunk of your salary left with you to plan for luxuries. Start by differentiating between basic Needs and Luxuries of Life. Your Kitchen Items, Kids School Fee, Electricity Bills, Telephone Bills are some of the basic Necesseties but Movies, Vacations, New Clothes, Jewellary, Dinning out should be considered as Luxuries and people should plan these things based on money left after paying for the basic Needs. Credit Card Bills and EMI payments should be the first priority but always make judicial decisions while purchasing something on Credit or on EMIs. Only buy things on Credit, if and only if you have the capacity to pay 100% payment easily, even without using a Credit Card. Similarly, EMI option should be used only if its for something Big, like a House or a Car and monthly EMI should not pinch your pockets. EMI should not be more than 50% of your pay. Also, plan to pay back your loan partly in case you get any Incentive or Bonus payment. It will reduce your burden.
This way you can stay happy by just focussing on yourself. Try to love yourself , your integrity and even your decision making. Never take a car just because your neighbour has one. Take one, if you need one, take two if you need two, irrespective of what your neighbour has.. Love your choice, love your senses, love your own fashion style.
Create your own priorities in Life and try to achieve those priorities, your self -respect and peace of mind is much more important than the competetion n envy with neighbours.
Love yourself and love your neighbours, Be a good neighbour, don't be a competetor n Enjoy the Life!!!

Life Begins at Forty..

Today is my Birthday, I am 43 yr old now and the mind is reminding me of an old saying "Life Begins at forty". Strange thought at the start of the day but this is the reality. I am wondering, is it true or just an idom or phrase used by people to put enthusiam in the older persons to be more happier and more content with Life and start taking things easily rather than being stressed with everyday chores, official or personal.
I just browsed Google to search for this phrase and clicked on the first result, its an interesting n knowlegable reading, url is pasted below, try if u r interested -
http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/life-begins-at-forty.html
In the words of a German Philospher,
"The first forty years of life give us the text: the next thirty supply the commentary."
By my understanding, the above sentence is true, we do go through many a learning phases and shape our lives with aggression to reach some kind of heights in our careers during the first forty yrs and then start mellowing down, settling more for a peaceful life routines.
Even if I look back now and evaluate, "what happenned during last 3 yrs, after I crossed the 40 mark in 2007, it really shows similar results.
  • I started writing this Blog during Dec 2007
  • I created an account at Orkut, which I rarely used.
  • I created an account at Linkedin, which really started the way forward to reconnect with all of my old buddies, besides the present day ones. This is the only Networking acct, I regularly visit and update.
  • In Jun 2007, I moved out of my Gurgaon House and moved to Delhi, looking for a change, somehow resulting in buying n moving to another apartment in 2010.
  • In April 2007, I bought my first sedan after driving hatchbacks for 12 yrs.
  • Last 2 yrs even resulted in vacations abroad with family.
  • Even profesionally, from being a Technical front end, I started moving to a more backend role, with handling operations or service delivery, pushing people to perform.
  • Started loving being a trainer, educating people, mentoring them, motivating them to make a splash in their fields and leave behind a name and impression to remember.

Many more such things did happenned in my life after forty and it surely happenns with almost everyone of us. I am really enjoying the Life and waiting for the next move. Really speaking, even at this moment, I am not sure what will be my next move or target to achieve in Life. Normally, I always take one target at a time in my personal Life and achieve them within the desired set time frame. This is just the relaxation phase until I can think of my next move,,until then,,,chill n enjoy the day, I am enjoying my own Birthday, alone, working from Home, already answered mails recd during last night and waiting for others to wake up and bombard me with more queries..by then I have to get up and fetch a Cake for my small family..Bye..take care.

Delhi - Unsafe -WHY?

During the last few days, there are many reports about the capital city of India - Delhi being unsafe in many manners, mainly for the Tourists coming from abroad. The major complaints being - behaviour of Indian men towards foriegn women, fleecing by all the shopkeepers and above all - the problem of Delhi Autowallahs.
I like to start with a "Sorry", for all those who had faced such issues at Delhi. Being the capital of India, the people of Delhi should understand the responsibility on their shoulders, to make the Tourists feel safe and should help them to enjoy their stay, so that they want to come back and explore more about the Life at India, its cultural depth and the vast variety in every region.
The major issue at Delhi is that the place is really a Cosmopolitan City, constituted mainly by Immigrants from all over India. It has no culture of its own or may be that old culture is lost in the making of Delhi in the streets of old Delhi..
Before Independence, Delhi used be a handful of villages on the outskirts, like Lado Sarai, Sheikh Sarai, Katwaria sarai, etc & the colonies built by Moghuls like Hauz Khas, Chandani Chowk, Nizammuddin, Ajmeri Gate, Lahori Gate, etc. So, Delhi used to be inhabited by Jats holding the agricultural land and Muslims taking care of skilled and semi-skilled jobs & "Bania" community taking care of trading and market activity.
These are different set of communities, residing in closely knit residential colonies, having their own culture and rituals, with mutual respect for each other.
During the British Rule, when Delhi became the capital, it also became the seat of "Power". All the central government offices were set up at Delhi and people from all over the country started coming to Delhi to grab the positions and work at central Govt offices. All this created, the powerful central Delhi, which is knows as NDMC nowadays, with hugh Bunglows and posh residences for all high ranking govt officials, surrounded by govt quarters at Sarojini Nagar, Kidwai nagar, Lodhi Colony, Bapa Nagar, Bengali Market, etc.
This started creating the sense of aloofness, as people from different regions started living next door and many could not adapt to next door neighbour's culture . Everyone was alone in their cultural celebration and people started losing the sense of sharing and caring. Its like - survival of the fittest in the animal kingdom.
Then came of moment of Independence, it brought along a hugh chunk of refugees from the parts of Punjab, which used to be in Pakistan. These Punjabis were given small shelter homes in the outskirts of Delhi, like Kingsway camp, Subhash Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Jangpura, etc. These were people, who were down to earth, hard worker, but intelligent and smart enough to adapt and mint "Gold' out of "Dust". Most of these started some kind of shop, they worked hard and started shaping up the Delhi. They minted Money and started buying up the agricultural land and started building up the plotted colonies and markets. Within few years, they took everyone by surprise, as they raised their stake in the society, by virtue of their Money Power. So, by now, Delhi became the place of Power, be it political or money and add to it, the central Govt Machinery. Everyone is connected to the Power Game and in all these buildup, we lost the culture of respect for the elders, for the neighbours, for the common man on the street. Its the race to be the one, with more money, with bigger bunglow, with larger car, ..the list is endless, it also includes the list of more Connections, be it the PA of PM or CM or even the local legislature member..
So, the Delhi for me is the VIP city, where everyone is connected to some VIP and gets his way by virtue of name dropping. This gave rise to the culture of Corruption among Govt Officials. As, these new immigrants are showing their money power, the only way for the govt officials to match them is by accepting more bribes at work. This corruption slowly percolotes down to the common man also. As common man gives bribe to get his work done, he always tries to cheat someone else to make up for that lost money. This is the reason for the petty ShopKeepers & Autowallahs to fleece whenever there is a chance.
So, better for Foriegners in the city is to depend on the trusted mode of Transport, like Pre-paid cabs or Call taxis. Also, try to understand the real value of merchandise and learn the trick of bargaining while shopping on the streets or always go the Big Super market and stores for their Shopping, to get the Fixed rates. They should plan before reaching India, about their Hotel and Book the same through Internet and do some Homework about Do's and Dont's to protect themselves against Cheats..
One of the biggest complaint from Women tourist is the "oogling eyes" of Indian men in the streets & the reason for same can be that North India does not have a sea shore and so no beach view, and the women folk at India cover their skin well, even the space between shirt buttons are stitched nicely with pins.., which means, the moment the men on the street find the view of Extra Skin, that too White, they tend to forget their culture and they start behaving like baboons. At that moment, these men really show their education level & their sense of respect for the women folk. Its really not a Good State but it will wade off only with more and more education and also openness is growing in India Society, with people travelling all over the world. With time, surely, these little matters will also settles down. People will learn to admire the Beauty rather than making a Taunt, a loose comment ..
Till then, better to cover slightly more skin and be safe and Enjoy the Streets of Delhi, which has variety in terms of merchandise as well as Food.., Explore the same..

Humaree Delhi..

Yesterday, it was announced that the new International Airport Terminal T3 at Delhi is ready and will be inagurated on Jul 3rd, 2010. The International flight operation starts from mid July and Domestic flights will start from end of July, 2010. This will be the 8th biggest Airport of the World and one of its kind at India. Believe me, its hugh.., I have seen the growth of this Airport from close quarters, as I have lived almost in every corner of this airport now, except one, the South, which has big Farm Houses.. may be Almighty God give me a chance to own one such Farm-House in my Lifetime, who knows...to cover the shortfall,, ahaha.., I will wait for the day..
When I was born, we used to live at Air Force Station, Palam in Air Force Quarters, as my father was employed with Indian Air Force. Our House was touching the east side of the Airport. We used to walk into the Airport freely to look for baggage stickers to be pasted on our NoteBooks. It was a craze in Air Force School to display the red coloured Air India Stickers with Name and Address on our NoteBooks. At those times, there was no security issues, anyone can walk in even upto the Hangars and see the Aircrafts getting repaired. It was Palam Airport at that time and it used to be known as the end of Delhi. Then it starting expanding, first the National Highway moved to new place. I still remember that at one time, Airport authority started charging Rs 5/- for Visitor's entry into the Airport, it later on increased to Rs 50/- and then finally no Visitors was allowed when security issues started increasing. By that time, I moved to Sonepat and Chandigarh for 6 yrs, to take care of my studies and returned back in 1989 to start my career at Micrographics India.
Time just runs at quick pace but when we look back, it seems the past was not far away, we could remember some things very easily and cherish those memories for ever..
Again during 1991-92, I moved to Saudi Arabia for work but returned soon to my Delhi and to Micrographics India, still living at the east end of the Airport.
Ultimately, in 2008, I purchased a small piece of land and constructed a house of my own at New Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. This locality is on the verge of West end the Airport. At that time, Airport Authority had taken possession of land for this new airport and also built a new International Airport nearby. Internally both Domestic and International Airports are linked but still the entry points for both are 8 Km apart.
After, few more years, Dwarka started taking shape at the back side of the airport. At the start, Dwarka took too much time to shape up.. In the early days, people used to call it a concrete jungle with no connectivity and no water, just a hugh chunk of barren land with no signs of any living person moving around. I remember passing through Dwarka many a times and getting lost, just because the Road just ends at any moment into a barren land or a nullah.. But, finally, when things started shaping up, it just mesmerised everyone. People who were sharp enough to sense the Buildup of Dwarka and bought some property during 2002-04, are the lucky ones to own Appartments here. By this time, from nothing, it become the most connected place from any corner of Delhi as well as Gurgaon, from all aspects. It has Metro, it has Big roads, spacious parks, every possible name in case of Schools, all amenities possible and is still growing.. I am also one of the persons, who took a 3BHK Flat in 2003 but somehow still waiting to move in..
From East to West and then in 2007, I moved to the North end of the Airport. I stayed with my extended family in one of my parental property at Palam for few yrs and then few months back, I shifted to a new 2BHK Apartment at Mahaveer Enclave again almost touching the periphery of the Airport.
Now, at Mahaveer Enclave, at the North West corner, waiting to move to Dwarka in next few months at back side of the airport, I have seen the Airport from all possible angles and seen it shaping up to what it is today and surely I aspire to move to the South, if Almighty God puts the same in my Destiny..
Similarly, Delhi is growing and is growing fast, presently it is the Best City to Live at India. It has wide roads, good amount of greenary, Best of education, Good Markets and above all Metro, reaching out to all corners of Delhi and now also to NCR towns. Just 2 days back metro started from Qutub Minar to Gurgaon.. Surely, there is a long way to go but whatever is happenning, is happenning very fast and is happenning for the Good. Commonwealth Games are scheduled for Oct, 2010, which is adding to the beautification and increase in the Infrastructure at Delhi. So, be prepared for the Good Days to come and enjoy the Growth of Delhi, Humaree Delhi..

What Next..

May be after accomplishing a few things in Life, its time to look at the Good Deeds done and the Results achieved. Surely, there are many more things to be done, but the mind is not ready to move the Life in a fast forward Mode.
The Mind wants me to relax and Enjoy the Moments , before thinking about the new project , the new goal, new priorities.. until then Lets Enjoy..

Creativity

One more question, I answered recently got selected as a Good Answer. I like to share the same with all-

Q - What do you think of creativity?
Asked by Michael Chang 21 days ago in
Mentoring Closed
Your answer was selected as a Good Answer
Your public answer:
“Creativity is something which is driven by passion within one's Heart..All acorss the world, the most common use of PC is to just write a Letter mostly using MS word, 95% of the people use Default settings but the other 5% use a different set of Fonts, slightly different set of page setting parameters, etc to showcase their ability to create something different than others. This process of putting Heart along with the Mind to complete any given task in a slightly different manner is Creativity. Many learn to write Computer languages but very few go ahead in Life and make their own programs, thats creativity. Every one knows "how to Paint" but choosing Colours is Creativity, be it your walls, fence or even background colours of your Presentations. So, just let ur Mind follow your Heart and Enjoy the creativity of ur own, to Enjoy the Life!!!”

Importance of Feedback.

Generally feedback is asked by many a Service Providers nowadays, to understand the ways to improve their services. Other than such feedback, in the common day to day Life, submitting Feedback about your own work is becoming more and more important. It helps the industry to record the work done by different persons and analyse the ways to improve the same. As I am growing with the added responsibilities in my official life, I easily recognise the personalities who provide timely and correct Feedback than the persons who avoid doing the same. Providing feedbacks during the course of carrying out your official duties has now become an integral part in the corporate world. I think, time has come for the corporate world to start working on enhancing these skills in thier employees by conducting some kind of related workshops or lectures by trusted Leaders. Feedback is the only process which creates a database for any work to be analysed. Whatever you perform as a person, you should record the same in some form and submit to some kind of Authority for safekeep and analyses. Unless, someone with knowledge about the importance of the work you do, analyse the feedback submitted by you, it is very difficult to establish the quality of work you do. Beside Quality, the time taken to perform the task, the route taken to understand the assigned task, help taken to simplify and complete the task, gives very good insight into your thought process and your capabilities. These analyses only help your superviser to assess you and provide the right kind of appraisal as well as the new responsibilities in future. In my opinion, the persons who are good at providing right and timely Feedback grows more faster and easily destined to become Managers and Leaders to lead the rest of the flock. If you think logically, many a times, managers just takes feedbacks from their subordinates and forward the same to the management and the customers concerned. This clearly means that the subordinates are not showing their capability to send the Feedback of the work they carry out. Manay a times, such subordiantes gives justifications about their busy schedule for not providing the timely Feedback. They do not understand the loss for not doing so. Better for all to understand the importance of providing timely Feedback and help their superiors to analyse and direct them about ways to improve..do it n grow is the surest way ahead in Life.

Life is a Dream

Few days back, I had posted a Blog, wherein I reffered to few important dates, which we remember without fail and try to celebrate those Moments, making them Kodak Moments... Just recently, I had added few more such dates in my Life to remember. One is Mar 17th, 2010, which was the day of House Warming (Greh Pravesh) for my new Apartment and suddenly to top it up with the Dream Run, I added Mar 23rd, 2010, a vacation to HongKong with the family. Both the events were memorable and so exciting that it will surely be difficult to forget these events in the near future. Even my family will surely remember these two events.
These two occassions are not different than many others but the way they unfolded in my Life, makes them special, like a Dream come true. A kind of special Gift from the Almighty God, whom we all pray and ask for Help in our everyday Life. It really makes me believe in Destiny and the importance of Dreaming with Open Eyes..
First, House Warming of my New Apartment, all my friends and close associates know that I had bought a 3BHK Apartment at Dwarka in 2003, which was expected to be allotted in late 2004 but it never happened till date, for reasons best know to the almighty God and the Government Officials at India sitting on the files meant for speedy Service to the Common Man. Somehow, I got a ray of Hope that the Flat will be allotted in 2007 and I proactively shifted the school of my kid to a nearby reputed school and also moved in with my Brother at my parental property on 19th May 2007, temporarily to take care of hassles while shifting in the middle of the session. At that moment, I thought that it is a smart move on my part as I will not have to wait for acedemic session to start, to move to my Dream House and I can shift as soon as I gets the possession... But, for next three years, the ray of Hope remained a Negative and never developed into a Positive... then one fine day, during our customary evening walk at the sides of the Palam Railway Platform, announced to my wife "lets forget about the Dwarka Flat and plan for next move", She agreed and we started evaluating our next move..
The best possible move was to renovate our House at New Palam Vihar at Gurgaon and move back and the least possible was to move to a rented Apartment at Dwarka. My wife rejected the idea of Rental arrangement and we started nurturing the idea of moving back. But, moving back was not easy, as my wife was working and it will be difficult for the kid to be alone after coming back from school till atleast 7pm.. Inbetween, our evening walks through busy lanes of Palam, we saw some Builder Floors and refocussed our discussion to one new Dream, "Can we buy one of these new apartment". Within 2 months, we browsed throght many such apartments and choose the Best possible one and confirmed the Booking. Till date, I am really not sure, How I arranged so much of money and paid for this new apartment, but I did it.. and moved in with all my Dreams and Hopes, to enjoy the Blessings of the Almighty God. This event clearly showcase the importance of understanding the Limitations in Life, assessing the situation, taking Timely Decisions and then going all out to prove to the world that you have taken a Right decision. Also, its important that all along trust your abilities and keep faith in the Almighty to help you..
Second, while finalising the Date for House warming, I had to go to Germany for an official Visit and I just thought "why I am going alone, what about my family?" and the Almighty gave the answer.. Next day, I recd a mail regarding a discounted Point redemption scheme from Jet Airways to HongKong. Despite spending heavily on the new apartment, I took a decision to take my family to HongKong for vacation and rest is History. We visited HongKong from 23rd to 28th Mar, 2010 and enjoyed our outings to DisneyLand, OceanPark, Tsim sha Tsui, Mongkok, Local Bus and MTR rides and everything we could in our limited budget..
If I think of six months back, I never dreamt of either this New Apartment OR our vacation to Hongkong, but today both the events are through like a Dream come true... so, just Dream about the real issues in your Life with your eyes completely open and start Enjoying the Life to make each Dream a Big Reality, Almighty God will always be with you to make it happen, trust me...

Be a Leader

Yesterday, over Lunch with few of the friends and colleagues, someone asked me, "How you seems to be Stress Free, even after having hugh official responsibilities". I like to share the reply given, may be its just my philosophy or may be it can help you to grow in Life and still lead a Stress Free Life.
Some of the points given as advice are as follows -
  • Start Cooking on some of the days. Sounds absured, but It will help you to move your mind away from the official pending List of Jobs and you will just concenterate on saving your gravy from burning off..
  • It will certainly make your spouse Happy, even if the food cooked may not taste good, believe me.., The more Household chores you share with your spouse, the more peaceful Life you can enjoy at Home, as it gives the other partner a feeling of being a partner in real sense, as you show readiness to share every bit of workload..
  • Learn to say "NO", if you think the work assigned to you is difficult to achieve in the given circumstances and given timeframe. You should be the one, making your priorities. Be in the driver seat and drive your life in your own terms, accept the challenges and complete the jobs within committed time frames, but do not Over-Commit.., just to get some brownie points from the Boss, speak up about your understanding of the job and take others advice and take the best possible route to finish off the job.
  • Making prioirties - seems easy, but you should know the inside out of the job you are expected to perform, then only you get capability of setting the priorities and time frames which are acceptable to others..so Learn, learn n learn...
  • Be a Leader, as only Leaders have Followers and followers follow the Teachings of the Leader and not the actual person behind those Teachings. So, to be a Leader, be a Good teacher.. unless you teach your learnings to your desciples, you cannot delegate them your work and unless you do that, you can not move ahead in Life. There are many Engineers, who are great in their work but they remain great engineers only, as they fail to pass on their knowledge. Its simple, life goes on , work needs to be finished, if you don't teach others, you will be the only person doing that job repeatedly whole of your Life without moving ahead to take on the new responsibilities and new challenges. So, Learn..teach..n Learn more with each new Teaching.., thats my motto, make urs also..if it makes sense to u..
  • Apart from this, you should know "Money Management" & "Time Management" to remain stress free. Claim all your expenses on time, pay all your bills as soon as you receive the same, make a list of payments to be made each month, like electricity bills , telephone bills, school fees, LIC premiums, credit card bills, etc and pay all of them without waiting for the Due Date. It feels great, when you don't have any pending Dues to be paid to anyone in the world. Stay away from Loans as much as you can. Credit card is for your convenience and not a way to get easy Loan.. regarding time management, just start your day early, rest of things starts falling in place one by one, its easy, no one gets sick if he or she wakes up at 5 in the morning or reach office half an hour earlier than the actual office time, try it..

So, just try some of the things, it may help you and then start teaching the same to others, so that we all can Live Smiling without any stress..

Life is a Party!!!

Normally, we remember some dates of our Life, our Birthday, spouse & Children's Birthday, Marriage anniversary, first Love, first Rose, first Kiss n so on.. The List never becomes too long, it can easily be counted on the fingers. So, these some dates become the Party reason for all of us. We wait for same, plan some party n have a Blast, every time,,,same time of the year.
I do remember many such dates, even date I went to my first Hostel 19 Jun 1983, Hindu College, Sonepat. The date I started my Life at Indo-Swiss, Chandigarh - 05 Sep 1985. The date I started my first job - 31 Jul 1989. My first car - 21 Jun 1995, last time I bought a car - 27 April, 2007..There are so many besides the usual ones - Birthdays and anniversaries.
So many options to Party, but Life is moving at such a pace that I have to miss these parties on many a occassions, like - I gave Interview at Kodak on 3rd Dec, 2001 - my Birthday n then Joined on 15 Jan, 2002. At Kodak, on many occassions, I travelled to Mumbai on my Birthday & even on my wife n kids Birthday and even on my Marriage Anniversary, thats the Life.
Even today, Feb 14th, is my Marriage Anniversary. I had planned to move to a new House on this day but destiny is more powerful n I am sitting at Tubingen, Germany. The people world over are celebrating Valentines Day but I am looking out of window at the Necker river and the snow around the same... Its no fun but the same can not be avoided, so I have changed myself over the years to Party anytime I feel like and anytime my spouse n kid ask for it. Good to have such attitude rather than feeling low about the missed oppurtunities..
Change with the time n Enjoy the Parties at any given time rather than waiting for only special days n enjoy the Life,,,,try it... Life is a Party!!!

Life is not a Straight Road..

Again, as usual sitting at a Airport waiting to catch a Flight.., sometimes I think, flying nowadays should be the Best possible destress factor. As during the time, you are airborne, no one can reach you, either by mail or by telephone. No one can knock on ur door, absolutely no disturbance. No spouses n no kids, no demands n no worries about supplies.. You are a Free Bird. Better to enjoy the time in catching up on ur sleep, if you can or browse through a long unfinished Book n just ask the purser to keep the Coffee Mug always full..
Try it, surely u will enjoy the same. I have seen people hooked on to their laptops even during Flying,,,,Why??? Even people are not ready to switch OFF their Blackberry despite clear instructions. It seems they cannot live disconnected, I think, they surely avoid even their basic daily chores n not to talk about their lack of time for their kid's n spouse's needs.. May God give them more Non- network areas to divert their attention from their NETworks..
Life is changing fast n we also need to change with it to keep up the pace, but we should try to keep the things as much as simple as possible. It adds to the joy, if u get a straight empty road to speed up after a busy street, but thats also a rarety nowadays. Adjust ur schedules in a way, which gives u enough time to Relax and enjoy the Drive, be it the drive of the Life or the drive to ur Business meet..
Simplicity Helps..Always
